Yorkson Associate Campus Director / Pastor
Purpose of Role The Associate Campus Director / Pastor of the Yorkson Campus of North Langley Community Church will assist the Campus Pastor and key ministry leaders to fulfill the mission of the campus: Connecting Yorkson to the Life-Changing Power of Jesus Christ. The primary focus will be on leadership and team development, particularly in Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, community outreach, and welcome teams.
Responsible for, but not limited to:
Admin and Communications
- Liaise with Central Support to ensure clear communication needs for campus events and Sunday services.
- Book all rental facilities (Township of Langley and Langley School Board, etc.) needed for a portable church.
- Help coordinate, schedule, train and assist key leaders and volunteer teams needed for Sunday ministries (set-up/take-down, welcome teams, giving); utilizing Planning Center.
- Assist with general administration and budget planning/tracking.
Leadership
- Join the Yorkson Sunday Service planning team.
- Support team leaders in church-wide local outreach to the community, including Alpha, as required.
- Assist Campus Pastor in pastoral care for campus needs.
- Contribute to the Yorkson Leadership Team
Kids and Youth
- Be the Yorkson campus point person working with the NLCC Family Ministries department to prepare for Sunday Kids Ministry teams.
- Ensure smooth Sunday morning programming for kids: nursery-Grade 5, including recruiting and building kids volunteer teams and teachers.
- Facilitate Youth ministry at the campus through volunteers who love student ministry, in conjunction with support from Central Youth Ministries.
Teaching and Preaching
- Assist the Campus Pastor in discipleship needs as necessary, such as supporting life group leaders, facilitating Life Together,
baptism + membership classes or other duties.
- Preach up to twice a quarter (up to 8x/year)
Other
- Respond to duties as requested or assigned by your supervisor.
- Attend NLCC and campus staff meetings, including morning prayer and all-staff gatherings, as able.
- Attend monthly NLCC kids and youth department meetings (Central Ministry)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS
Faith and Character
- A passionate love for Jesus.
- Demonstrates ongoing growth in maturity as an apprentice of Jesus Christ.
- Demonstrates emotional health in leadership and relationships.
Leadership Experience
- 1-3 years leading in key church ministry role
- Demonstrated experience recruiting, equipping and leading teams
Education
- Degree in Bible/Theology
Technical Skills
- Ability to learn / use Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint), Slack, ClickUp, Planning Center.
Status: Full time, 40 hours / week.
