AZ / DZ Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver

Riverstone Excavation & Underground Ltd. is looking for an experienced, hardworking and reliable AZ or DZ Driver to join our growing excavation and civil construction company.

This is a full-time position operating our Western Star tri-axle dump truck with an 18-speed manual transmission. We are looking for a responsible driver who takes pride in their work, looks after the equipment and can be counted on every day.

Requirements

- Valid AZ or DZ licence
- Clean and insurable driving record
- Experience operating tri-axle dump trucks is required
- Must be experienced operating an 18-speed manual transmission
- Experience hauling gravel, stone, soil, asphalt, demolition material and other construction materials
- Own reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Able to identify basic mechanical or maintenance issues with the truck
- Strong understanding of daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Responsible for keeping the truck clean, greased and properly looked after
- Hardworking, reliable and punctual
- Must be comfortable working around excavators, loaders and other heavy equipment




- Able to safely back into job sites and work in tight construction areas
- Positive communication with operators, foremen, pits, suppliers and customers
- Willing to help the crew when required
- Must be a team player with a good attitude
- Must take safety seriously and operate the truck professionally
