Role Description The Back End Developer will work as part of a remote, part-time team responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side components of Teaminix’s guard management platform. Daily activities include designing and implementing APIs, integrating data storage solutions, and ensuring secure, reliable communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services. The role involves troubleshooting performance issues, improving scalability, and collaborating with front-end developers and product stakeholders to refine technical requirements.

Developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including API design and integration, and experience working with databases and server-side frameworks.
- Candidates should possess Software Development and general Programming skills, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Candidates should possess Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including understanding of design patterns and modular architecture.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Front-End Development concepts to effectively collaborate with front-end engineers and ensure seamless integration.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable system design for web applications.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
