Electric Love Bakeshop is expanding and looking to hire another baker to join our growing team. The job involves baking a variety of desserts such as cookies, cupcakes, brownies and squares, and pies. The position allows for creativity in the kitchen and over time the ability for upward job movement in the company. Looking for someone who is happy to learn new skills and work collaboratively in a fun small team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-4 years of previous bakery experience
- Has a degree in pastry arts or several years experience in a bakery instead of formal education.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg bags of flour and sugar
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate
The pay range is $21-23 per hour, based on your previous work experience and skills/ability in the kitchen. Free parking available on-site,
and easily accessible by TTC (bus stop 15 second walk from the bakery).
Hours are generally around 30-40 hours per week. We are closed every Saturday and all statutory holidays, so you will always have those days off to enjoy with friends and family. We are a kosher bakery, so we are closed for all Jewish holidays and we are very flexible about giving time off for our staff for Christmas, other holidays, and vacation time.
