We are looking for a Baker/Barista who takes pride in their work and thoroughly enjoys the cafe experience. The right person will like interacting with the public and making a difference in their days. We bake all of our goods in house and are ideally looking for a candidate with baking experience.

Our cafe occupies an area that serves locals as well as tourists so being bright and engaging to those who are taking a break from their daily lives as well as those on holiday, is important.

Responsibilities

- Follow cafe recipes end ensure high quality of in house products.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring each customer feels welcome and valued
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe




- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers
- Communicate efficiently with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to self direct
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Situational Awareness (able to focus on tasks, but still be aware of what is going on in the cafe.
