Nursery & Finishing Barn Manager

Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Nursery & Finishing Barn Manager located near the community of Deloraine, MB.

Your days will include

- Manage overall barn and yard site
- Manage staff, delegate duties, perform coaching plans
- Meet production targets
- Organize and maintain gilt selections
- Carry out feeding and vaccination programs
- Monitor proper animal handling
- Perform minor maintenance tasks
- Perform general on farm duties
- Maintain livestock performance records
- Respond to after-hours alarm calls
- Other duties as assigned

· To succeed in this role, you possess:
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License & reliable means of transportation
- Self-motivated, well organized and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Good work ethic
- A team player, work well with others
- Availability to work rotating weekend shifts
- An experienced Swine Technician (2 years minimum)
