Business Objects Consultant
Qualifications
1. Expert knowledge of Business Objects version 4 suite with at least 3 years development experience
2. Strong analytical/problem solving abilities to analyze technical,
complex systems requirements and implement optimized solutions to address client needs within defined system standards
- Detailed knowledge of data and its relationships so that appropriate database scans and customized reports can be generated for management
4. Experience with detailed and complex business functions,
processes and rules associated with supported applications within medium to large sized
Corporations
- Business process analysis and requirements gathering experience
6. Strong written and oral communication skills able to communicate effectively with staff with varying degrees of systems expertise in clarifying and addressing program/system requirements
- Business Objects solution and reporting design experience
8. Experience with projects managed using Agile Methodology or Scrum
Framework
- Experience with Oracle 10g and/or 11i
10. High level of organizational skills, required to simultaneously work with multiple projects with tight timelines
- Strong commitment to client service
12. Familiar with change management procedures for a large multi-team project
- Experience working with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office software
