Overview

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Directorah.. of Business Systems, the role will focus on our Atlassian product portfolio. Applications like Jira, Confluence, and bitbucket.

In this position, you will be engaging directly with business and IS stakeholders, be part of the various on-going initiative on maturing our Atlassian tool landscape through project, participate in application research, design, development, custom integrations with other systems using API, Webhooks, ISC and others. You would provide ongoing support for corporate applications, whilst turning your attention to other major enterprise application projects. While part of the Business Systems team, this position will join a high-performance team focused on delivering result.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is hybrid based in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities

As a Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

- Administration of a range of business applications including but not limited to: Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Perforce, ServiceNow.
- Initiate and organize current projects on the JIRA platform, as well as configuring layout, design, workflow, and dashboard.




- Maintain performance stability and applications availability of JIRA/Confluence and SharePoint.
- Create and manage complex JIRA components including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes in JIRA.
- Help guide and maintain the organization data in Confluence, Jira and SharePoint.
- Identify enhancements in Macros Confluence Markup and Jira Query Language (JQL).
- Provide user support for NovAtel’s business applications.
- Carrying maintenance (patches, hot fixes) as required.
- Liaise with software vendors to obtain support as required.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to upgrade business systems.
- Lead efforts around electronic data classification and define how technologies like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams fit within that framework.
- Participate in ITSM process maturity with a commitment to continuous improvement and maintain ITSM documentation and compliance to standards such as NIST/CMMC, GDPR, and ISO.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years working in a related information technology role.
- 4- 5 years of administrator experience in supporting JIRA and Confluence.
- 3+ years of experience with ITIL methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases.
- 3+ years of experience with key business applications and integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SOAP, SCP, FTPS.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communications abilities.

Key Success Factors:

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal,



to work with the business.
- You understand process mapping and business analysis and work technically to create business flow and make recommendations on business processes.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills. You collect, compile, and present complex data fit for various audiences.

Nice-to-Have:

- SharePoint administration experience.
- Project Management experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- SQL Server experience.
