Having been in business for over 100 years, we have a strong and inclusive culture, focused on personable hospitality and making our guests and staff 'feel at home'. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with us as a bakery counter team member.

ROLE: As a Busser team member, your role is to ensure that the dining room is clean and presentable and to take care of some of our guests' basic needs. We expect you to be friendly, warm, safety-oriented, and most importantly, to be yourself!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
- Clear tables before guests sit down, remove used tableware, clear and re-set tables after guests leave.
- Properly clean and sanitize all dining surfaces – booths, chairs, tables, S&P; Shakers, Ketchup Bottles
- Ensure that the dining room and guest areas are clean, well kept, and in valuable appearance.
- Maintain a sanitary, tidy, and safe front area
- Perform basic cleaning duties around the restaurant
- Clean restrooms daily and ensure that there is enough paper towel and toilet paper
- Replace blown light bulbs




- Ensure that all guest areas are in good repair and report any maintenance issues to the maintenance administrator and dining room manager
- Clean coffee machines and juice dispensers on a weekly basis
- Set up the front area with stanchions, carpets, and signage in an organized and safe manner
- Keep doors, handles, and windows clean from streaks and dirt

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be able to stand for a majority of a shift 6-10 hours
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to move quickly and adapt to a fast-paced workplace
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be respectful and inclusive of various cultures
