The Role A Theatre Technician at a roadhouse venue is responsible for the seamless execution of a wide range of live events including:

- Live Mixing: Operate digital mixing consoles (FOH and Monitors) to achieve high-quality sound for live bands, ensuring proper EQ dynamics and gain staging
- System Rigging: Hang, place and strike PA speaker stage monitors, and microphone setups
- Backline and Stage Setup: Coordinate with touring musicians on backline needs, stage plots, and the input list.
- Programming: Program and operate lighting consoles for performances
- Event: Help with load-ins, strikes,



and backstage logistics for touring production.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all in-house lighting, audio, video, and rigging equipment to ensure a secure working environment

Requirements

Necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role include:

- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- an entrepreneurial spirit, specifically one who is willing to take a risk to create opportunities;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and
- a high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
- experience with soundboards and lighting consoles
- ability to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 50 lbs
- problem-solving skills, clear communication under pressure, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of artists, producers, and crew members

The schedule is highly variable and includes irregular hours, requiring the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by show schedules
