We are looking for a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA Level I or Level II) who is friendly, organized, a solid team player, and committed to providing excellent patient care. Immediate start available. Housing may also be available for the right candidate, making relocation to Huntsville easier.

Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of general dental procedures, including examinations, restorative procedures, crown and bridge, endodontics, extractions, and other treatments within your scope.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments, materials, and supplies are ready for each appointment.
- Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize instruments according to current infection prevention and control standards.
- Take dental radiographs where permitted within your certification and scope of practice.
- Assist with digital dentistry and modern clinical technology, including digital radiography and intraoral scanning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation using dental practice management software.
- Provide patients with clear and friendly pre- and post-operative instructions.
- Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure treatment rooms remain organized and well stocked.
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, administrative staff, and other dental assistants to keep the clinical day running efficiently.




- Help create a warm and comfortable experience for patients of all ages.

Experience & Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- CDA Level I or Level II certification.
- HARP certification/qualification where applicable.
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset, although motivated candidates who are early in their careers are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instrumentation, sterilization, and infection-control procedures.
- Experience with digital radiography and dental practice management software is an asset.
- Experience with intraoral scanners or other digital dental technology is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
