In this role within the Lunar Permanence business unit, you will apply your engineering expertise to structural analysis of Blue Origin's lunar landers. Your work will impact safe human spaceflight, involving physics-based methodologies and finite element modeling. - Solve static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based methods
- Conduct acceleration, shock, and vibration analysis
- Develop and validate finite element models
- Assist in the configuration development of mechanisms
- Provide insights in trade studies Requirements:
- B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering
- 3+ years of structural analysis experience in aerospace
- Robust fundamental knowledge of structural dynamics
- Passion for structural loads development
