Summary:

As a key member of the Plexxis Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.

The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, cash management, forecasting and planning, contract analysis, procurement, investor relationships and institutional funding programs.

The effective Plexxis CFO will be a partner to the CEO and shareholders - ready to support and challenge in leading the business. The CFO is an exceptional communicator and possesses strong competence presenting results to the leadership team and facilitating healthy and productive conversation pertaining to risk management optimizing results.

Duties & Accountabilities

- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Plexxis Finance & Accounting functions
- Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives
- Create and manage processes for the provision of timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, cash assets and forecasts
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range financial planning and risk management
- Provide Executive Management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Represent Plexxis with private investment and public institutions
- Report financial results to the Plexxis Board of Directors
- Arrange for and manage debt and equity financing
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage capital requests and budgeting processes

- Maintain banking relationships




- Effectively supervise all financial personnel

Qualifications

- BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in the construction industry and/or property management

§ Eligible to work in Canada

§ Software Industry background is highly preferred o Including specialization with ERP and cloud based subscription platforms
