Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Reports to: Manager, Municipal Engineering
Objective and Scope:
PINTER & Associates Ltd. (PINTER) is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the continued growth of its municipal engineering practice. As part of a close-knit, highly collaborative firm, you will work across a diverse portfolio of municipal and infrastructure projects such as water and wastewater treatment, road works, waste management facilities, land development, asset management, and/or stormwater management.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients by identifying pragmatic, economical, and suitable options for solutions to civil problems.
- Preparing concept plans and preliminary designs for recent infrastructure, rehabilitation, and retrofit projects.
- Designing site plans and civil engineering works associated with municipal projects
- Evaluating alternatives and selecting appropriate processes and equipment.
- Preparing cost estimates, permit applications, and detailed designs for advanced-stage projects.
- Developing specifications and tender documents
- Surveying, quantity estimation, construction inspection, and contract administration.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects at varying stages and complexity
- Writing technical reports and winning proposals.
- Collaborate across disciplines (municipal, environmental, geotechnical) to deliver integrated solutions
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
- P.Eng. designation in Canada (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in municipal/civil engineering within a consulting environment
- Proven experience in project management, construction oversight, and client coordination

- Solid technical writing and proposal development skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

- Leadership capability, including mentoring and guiding junior staff
