Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class One Driver to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes within Alberta, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance will be essential to keep our logistics running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class One trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff,



and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly

Experience

- Proven experience operating Class One commercial trucks in a qualified setting
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Will need to provide Drivers abstract before hire
- H2S, First Aid and other Oil Field Courses required - please include what you already have on your resume
