About the Opportunity

Advanced Building Care Systems (ABC) is seeking reliable, professional Cleaners (Independent Contractors) to provide daytime common area cleaning and property care at a premium residential community in New Westminster.

This role, known internally as Property Care Specialist, goes beyond traditional cleaning. You’ll support the property management team by maintaining the building’s cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation. Ideal for independent contractors experienced in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping.

Shifts available: Full time and part-time daytime.

Cleaner Responsibilities

- Perform high‑standard common area cleaning in the fitness centre, café, public washrooms, hallways, amenity rooms, and management offices.
- Maintain exterior entrances, BBQ areas, pet relief zones, loading bays, and garbage rooms.
- Provide proactive property care throughout the community.
- Complete daily property inspections, document concerns and submit reports.
- Organize janitorial rooms and manage cleaning inventory.
- Identify and report safety or maintenance issues to the Property Manager.
- Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and the property management team.

Cleaner Qualifications

- Experience in commercial cleaning, residential cleaning, janitorial, custodial,



or housekeeping roles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Professional, dependable, and self‑motivated.
- Able to work independently and problem‑solve as needed.
- Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to push/pull equipment, carry supplies, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs.
- WHMIS training or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to follow company procedures and building service guidelines.
