RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position Summary

Department / Research Program: Alan-Edwards Pain Management Unit

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual to join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator. The incumbent will demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and priority management skills, along with a strong commitment to quality and adherence to research protocols.

General Duties

- Participate in the planning, coordination, and organization of clinical research projects,
- Recruit and follow up with study participants in person, by telephone, and by email,
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and confidentiality of collected data,
- Document research activities and maintain essential study files and documentation,
- Prepare and submit applications to the Research Ethics Board, and complete required follow-ups,
- Participate in the preparation and updating of study-related documents,
- Communicate with study participants, research team members, and various partners involved in the projects,
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with participants, healthcare professionals, and various research partners.

Education / Experience

Education: Diplome of College Studies (DEC)

Field of Study: Healthcare field or related discipline

Work Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience

Required Skills

This position requires an advanced knowledge of oral and written French.

- An advanced knowledge of oral English and an intermediary knowledge of written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with patients, researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.
- Experience in clinical research,
- Experience in the field of chronic diseases and pain.





Additional information Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)

Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Work Site: MGH, 1650 Cedar Ave.
