This opportunity is ideal for an entrepreneurial lawyer with an established portable book of business who is looking to grow their practice on a collaborative national platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the firm's commercial litigation practice in British Columbia while benefiting from cross-office collaboration, strong operational support, and multiple partnership pathways.

Practice

Focus The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of business disputes, including: Commercial litigation

Contract disputes

Shareholder and partnership disputes

Construction litigation

Commercial collections and credit enforcement

Professional negligence

Business torts and other complex commercial matters Key Responsibilities

Manage and continue growing an established commercial litigation practice

Develop and maintain long-term client relationships

Handle litigation matters from inception through trial or negotiated resolution

Appear before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Court of Appeal, arbitrations, mediations, and judicial settlement conferences

Mentor junior lawyers and collaborate across practice groups

Participate in business development and community engagement initiatives

Work with colleagues across the firm's national platform to provide comprehensive legal solutions Qualifications

7+ years of commercial litigation experience

Established portable book of business required





Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills

Demonstrated ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters

Proven business development and client relationship management experience

Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a practice
