Role Summary The Compliance Administration role is responsible for ensuring the Equipment, Drivers and Organization are always meeting regulatory requirements and company standards. This role works closely with management, operations, vendors and drivers and is the key point of contact for all compliance related aspect of the business.

The role is heavily dependent on date tracking, data entry, communication, document management and ensuring completion of every facet is always achieved.

Position Details

This position is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm in our offices, located at 6215 90 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB. This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of permanent employment, to be determined upon completion of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Driver, Equipment and Fleet Compliance Programs

Equipment Compliance

- Ensure all equipment has been maintained and inspected as per Preventative Maintenance Schedule
- Ensure all documentation is received, information entered into database and electronic and hard copy filing systems are maintained
- Ensure distribution of all in-cab documents are completed
- Ensure all follow-up requirements are completed in a timely manner

Driver Compliance




- Coordinate the Onboarding of new Hires and prepare all necessary documentation as required
- Create new driver profiles and records
- Maintain active status on all regulatory requirements, such as licenses and certifications
- Prepare weekly monitoring reports
- Ensure all aspects of the program is documented, entered into the database and all electronic and hard copy filing systems are maintained

Fleet Compliance
- Ensure all documentation is distributed prior to expiry dates
- File all official documents and maintain confidentiality
- Create and maintain all 3rd party carrier records

Training This role will require completion of in-house and online training:

- Orientation Program
- Commercial Carrier SFC Program
- Hours of Service
- Workplace Harassment and Violence

Requirements The ideal candidate will require

- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- 2+ years administrative/data entry experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task in a quick-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage competing and conflicting priorities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $23.75-$25.00 per hour

Education

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
- Trucking Industry: 1 year (preferred)
