Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw materials into durable, high-quality concrete structures. Duties

- Prepare concrete forms and molds using carpentry and masonry techniques, ensuring precise measurements and placement according to schematics and blueprints
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, and power tools safely and effectively to facilitate concrete pouring and finishing processes
- Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete structures, following detailed schematics and engineering plans
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and applying finishing techniques like troweling, caulking, and sealing for a polished look
- Assist with restoration and renovation projects by removing old materials, preparing surfaces, and applying new concrete or flooring installations
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to interpret project requirements and ensure proper execution of tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for tasks such as cutting, shaping,



mixing, and applying concrete or related materials

Requirements

- Proven construction experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during demanding tasks
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, welding, caulking, flooring installation, and schematic reading is highly desirable
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including mixers, cranes, or other machinery used in concrete work
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading for accurate project execution
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with a positive attitude and team spirit
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
