Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish in our Mackenzie and/or Prince George locations on a rotational schedule - 14 days on 7 off.

In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Your leadership will drive quality craftsmanship, foster collaboration among teams, and uphold the highest standards of construction excellence. Duties

- Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and schedules.
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Utilize construction management software for scheduling, documentation, and project tracking.
- Conduct quality control inspections regularly to verify adherence to specifications, codes, and safety protocols.
- Oversee budgeting processes, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.




- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Possible travel between multiple sites

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Extensive construction experience with a strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, budgeting practices, and scheduling techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and liaise with clients and project managers.
- Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and best practices in project execution.
