About Viasox Founded in 2019, Viasox is a rapidly growing eight-figure eCommerce company changing what functional socks can look and feel like.
We began by transforming diabetic socks from a purely functional product into something comfortable, colourful, and expressive. Our product line has since expanded to include compression socks, ankle socks, licensed collaborations, and recent monthly collections.
We’re a lean, fast-moving team that values strong ideas, personal ownership, and people who are comfortable building—not just maintaining—creative systems.
The Role Viasox is looking for a hands-on Creative Producer with experience producing product-focused advertising for paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
You will take marketing-focused creative briefs and shot lists and turn them into compelling video and photography assets. You’ll plan shoots, direct talent, source creators, capture content, manage production logistics, and collaborate with our Creative Strategists, editors, designers, and media-buying team.
The briefs you receive will explain what each asset needs to communicate. Your responsibility is to understand the marketing purpose behind the shot and determine how to produce it clearly and believably.
For example, if a shot calls for visible sock marks, discomfort around the foot, difficulty putting on a traditional sock, a product comparison, or the relief of switching products, you should know how to select the right talent, props, styling, lighting, framing, and direction to bring that moment to life.
This is a hands-on position within a smaller creative team. You will have meaningful freedom over how productions come together, but you must also be confident working independently, solving problems, and building a reliable network of creators, talent, contractors, and production support.
What You’ll Do
- Turn creative briefs and shot lists into production plans, schedules, shot requirements, budgets, and final deliverables.
- Interpret the marketing purpose behind each shot and determine how to communicate it visually.
- Plan, execute, and coordinate approximately 8–10 video and photography shoots per month.
- Produce product-focused creative designed primarily for paid social advertising.
- Contribute production concepts, locations, visual treatments, casting ideas, demonstrations, and shoot ideas.
- Determine the talent, props, wardrobe, styling, locations, lighting, framing, and direction required for each production.
- Shoot high-quality video and photography using appropriate camera, lighting, audio, and production equipment.
- Direct UGC creators, customers, brand ambassadors, models, and other on-camera talent.
- Help non-professional talent deliver natural, believable performances.
- Source and manage locations, props, equipment, contractors, production assistants, and other production requirements.
- Capture multiple hooks, product demonstrations, angles, reactions, comparisons, and calls to action during each shoot.
- Ensure every production generates enough usable footage and variation to support multiple ads.
- Build and maintain a dependable network of creators, freelance crew members, talent, and production partners.
- Work closely with Creative Strategists to understand the audience, angle, and purpose behind each brief.
- Provide editors and designers with organized footage, references, production notes, and clear creative direction.
- Review edited assets and provide feedback to ensure the original production and marketing vision is maintained.
- Apply performance insights provided by the creative strategy and media-buying teams to improve future productions.
- Keep productions organized and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Troubleshoot production challenges quickly without losing sight of what the creative needs to communicate.
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years of hands-on creative production experience within eCommerce, consumer products, advertising, or a creative agency.
- A portfolio that includes product-focused advertisements produced for paid social platforms.
- Experience producing ads for physical products sold online.
- Experience with DTC or eCommerce brands, or with agency clients operating in those categories.
- A practical understanding of direct-response advertising and how it differs from organic, editorial, corporate, or purely brand-focused content.
- Familiarity with common paid-social formats, including hooks, customer problems, product demonstrations, testimonials, comparisons, benefits, offers, and calls to action.
- Strong ability to interpret marketing-oriented briefs and shot lists and translate them into practical production decisions.
- Ability to visually communicate customer problems, product benefits, demonstrations, comparisons,
and emotional moments.
- Confidence planning and running productions independently from pre-production through asset handoff.
- Strong videography and photography skills, including camera operation, composition, lighting, and audio.
- Experience directing on-camera talent and UGC creators.
- Experience sourcing talent, creators, locations, props, wardrobe, and production support.
- Strong production-management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance polished productions with lower-budget, fast-turnaround content.
- Resourcefulness and confidence working within a lean team where you will be expected to take ownership and find solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience producing advertising for health and wellness, apparel, beauty, lifestyle, or other consumer product brands.

- Basic editing experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Familiarity with creative analytics or platforms such as Motion.
- Experience balancing frequent in-house shoots with larger, higher-budget productions.
What Success Looks Like
- Shoots are properly prepared, organized, and completed on time.
- Marketing-focused shot lists are translated into clear, believable, and usable footage.
- Each production creates enough quality footage and variation to support multiple paid advertisements.
- Creative briefs are executed accurately while benefiting from your production ideas and judgment.
- Talent is properly directed and feels natural on camera.
- Editors receive organized footage, clear notes, and everything required to complete the assets.
- Productions improve over time based on creative feedback and paid-media insights.
