Position Summary

We are looking for a highly diligent and detail-oriented Cross Dock Coordinator whose main objective is to achieve the success of smooth operations at the Warehouse for maximum efficiency and who takes initiative when working towards treating our customers first-class.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of trucking operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Collaborate with carriers and drivers to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules while optimizing route efficiency.
- Communicate with customers to provide shipment status updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage and maintain transportation documentation, such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and other relevant records.
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics operations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in transportation operations.




- Act as the main point of contact for drivers and carriers, addressing any operational concerns promptly and professionally.
- Proactively address potential delays or disruptions in delivery schedules and implement contingency plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the trucking or 3PL industry.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with carriers, drivers, and customers.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
