Uni-Fab is hiring a Welder and Fitter to join our team in Novi, MI. This position is dedicated to fabricating metal structures through expert welding and fitting practices based on detailed blueprints.
In this role with Uni-Fab, you'll leverage your fitting and welding skills to construct innovative metal solutions for our global clientele. Your proficiency in interpreting blueprints will assist in cutting and assembling metal components effectively, contributing to our reputation as a leading fabricator in steel and aluminum products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze engineering drawings to determine materials
• Assemble and weld metal sections to form robust structures
• Lay out reference points for precise alignment




• Construct templates to guide fabrication processes
• Efficiently handle and move materials within the shop
Requirements:
• Must have fitting and welding experience (no jig fitting)
• Solid skills in reading blueprints and electrical prints
