RiverBrink Art Museum is a small but dynamic public art museum located on the beautiful Niagara Parkway in Queenston, Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Job Purpose The custodian plays an important role in maintaining our facilities and providing a clean environment for visitors and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Weekly dusting of floors, windows, wipe and dust furniture and other surfaces (except art works) in offices and exhibition rooms
- Vacuum and mop floors in kitchen, washrooms, and studio (as needed)
- Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors (x 4 bathrooms)
- Restock disposables (soap, toilet paper, etc.)
- Empty garbage, and recycle bins
- Purchase supplies
- Seasonal outdoor cleaning

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as custodian or similar role an asset




- Physical demands are light, may be required to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Attention to detail, mindful of working around artworks
- Police check required (fee reimbursed)

Hours of Work: This is a part-time position; 3-4 hrs/week with possible additional hours in summer.

Rate of pay

$30/hr
