Lead Cyber and IT risk initiatives with RBC as an Associate Director in Toronto. Collaborate on regulatory compliance and technology risk management with senior leadership and key stakeholders. In this pivotal Associate Director role, report directly to the Director of Technology Strategy within Group Risk Management.
You'll work collaboratively on regulatory engagements while driving second line defense activities. Your expertise in regulatory analysis, risk management, and operational improvement will be crucial to enhancing compliance and operational resilience. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and challenge regulatory submissions for accuracy
- Identify improvement areas and communicate control gaps
- Coordinate Second Line of Defense Regulatory Exam requests
- Plan and execute oversight for US regulatory workstreams
- Ensure alignment of remediation outputs with root causes Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with 7 years of Technology or IT Risk experience
- Robust detail-oriented and operational focus
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
