Are you passionate about turning data into decisions? Hiredbuddy is looking for an Entry Level Data Analyst to support our analytics function. In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders across the company to collect, clean, and interpret data, helping to inform strategic priorities and operational improvements.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering data from multiple sources, maintaining data pipelines, and performing exploratory data analysis. You will learn how to identify patterns, spot anomalies, and communicate findings in clear, accessible formats. Your work will directly contribute to improving our ability to understand customer behavior, product performance, and internal processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Writing SQL queries to extract and aggregate data from relational databases.
- Building and refreshing dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Performing data cleaning and validation in Python (using pandas) or Excel to ensure accuracy.
- Conducting basic statistical analyses, such as trends, distributions, and correlations.
- Collaborating with team members to understand business questions and translate them into analytical tasks.
- Documenting processes and maintaining a data dictionary for key metrics.
- Assisting in automating repetitive reporting tasks.
- Diving into ad-hoc data requests from different departments.

Requirements

- 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- Bachelor degree in a quantitative discipline (or working toward completion) preferred, not required
- Foundational knowledge of SQL for data q
- Basic experience with Python especially pandas, or strong willingness to learn
- Ability to create explicit charts and tables in Excel or Google Sheets
- Familiarity with at least one dashboarding toll is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to structure data work
- Self-starter ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Eagerness to learn recent tools and analytical methods
