The OSI Clinic focuses on mental health services for military personnel and families experiencing psychological stress. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will provide assessments and therapies for PTSD and anxiety disorders. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential to develop comprehensive treatment plans and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver mental health assessments and therapies for clients
• Educate stakeholders, including VAC and RCMP personnel
• Utilize virtual care technologies to reach outlying communities
• Conduct OSI-specific research and write grant proposals
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and VAC guidelines
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
• Registration or eligibility under the Psychologists Act of Nova Scotia
• Experience with trauma-focused therapy
• Familiarity with military or police services environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
