Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and experienced dental team at our well established privately owned family practice in Port Colborne. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during each visit. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and patient confidentiality using Abeldent dental software .
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications





- Graduate of accredited dental hygiene program
- Duly licensed and registered with CDHO
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Familiarity with Abeldent software
- Excellent communication skills for patients of all ages

Four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) averaging about 30 hours a week with remuneration based on experience. No late evenings or weekend. Join our team and contribute to improving the oral health of our loyal patient base while working in a supportive and professional environment!
