The Warehouse Labourer is an integral part of the team and contributes to the success of the company. This position reports directly to the Inside Sales & Warehouse Manager. innovation, and communityWhat You'll Be DoingAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, and pack goods to be shippedAssist with loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyancesInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goodsOperate forklift, hand truck, overhead crane or other equipment as necessaryOrganize items to fill customer requests from Order Desk and Outside SalesProvide backup assistance to the Shipper/ReceiverAssist with reeling rope for customer ordersRestock wire rope on racking and pallet racksRestock chain drumsBuild and paint reelsAssist with filling chain ordersAssist with building wire rope slings and small assembliesComplete regular inventory cycle countsAssist with general facilities maintenanceInteract courteously with customers, vendors and co-workers, displaying professional conductOther related duties as assignedWhat You Bring To The TableGrade 12 education or equivalentMinimum two (2)
