JOB DESCRIPTIONLocation: Hybrid(Downtown, Toronto)Duration: 12 monthsOur client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for an IT Project Manager - Hardware Currency to develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.Typical Day in role:Project Planning & ExecutionManage on-premises infrastructure refresh and migration activitiesCoordinate implementation timelines, cutovers, maintenance windows, and deployment activitiesEnsure project deliverables meet established timelines and quality standardsDrive completion of all project milestones and dependenciesGovernance & ReportingManage projects through the Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) lifecycle and approval gatesPrepare and present project status updates to leadership and executive stakeholdersProvide ongoing reporting within CA-PPMTrack project health, milestones, key deliverables, and performance indicatorsMaintain accurate project documentation throughout deliveryStakeholder ManagementPartner closely with engineering, network, infrastructure, and technology delivery teamsCommunicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including executive leadershipCoordinate with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and readiness for project milestonesFacilitate decision-making and issue resolution across multiple stakeholder groupsRisk & Change ManagementOwn and maintain project RAID logsIdentify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions,



and dependenciesLead project change management and baselining activitiesEscalate critical issues and support timely resolutionVendor Management & Financial OversightWork closely with delivery partners including Kyndryl, CA-Tech, and other technology vendorsCoordinate vendor deliverables and implementation activitiesSupport procurement-related activities where requiredCollaborate with Program Controls and finance partners to manage project financialsCoordinate Requests for Service (RFS) and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycleDeployment & Operational ReadinessCoordinate approvals through governance forums including:ERB (Enterprise Review Board)EARB (Enterprise Architecture Review Board)OR (Operational Readiness)Ensure all approvals and requirements are met before progressing through delivery gatesPlan and coordinate production change windowsFacilitate go-live, migration, and cutover activitiesSupport post-deployment stabilization and hypercare activities as requiredThis is primarily a project coordination and delivery leadership role. Technical implementation activities will be executed by engineering and contractor teams, while the Project Manager will drive planning, governance, communication, and execution.Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:10+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager,
