Our client is a respected and growing real estate developer with a strong pipeline of residential construction projects across Southwestern Ontario. They are known for delivering high-quality communities and fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture. Leading and mentoring Project Managers, Superintendents, and procurement teams to ensure strong project delivery and team performance.

Overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and contract execution while managing financial risks and cost controls. Reviewing project plans, specifications, and construction progress to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain alignment with project goals. Ensuring compliance with Ontario Building Code, safety regulations, permits, and quality standards.

Driving schedule performance through milestone tracking, critical path management, and proactive issue resolution. Managing stakeholder relationships including consultants, contractors, municipalities, and internal leadership. Supporting project closeout, occupancy readiness, and warranty programs to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

A successful Director of Construction should have: ~10+ years of progressive experience in construction, including senior project management or leadership roles. ~ Robust experience in high-density residential construction projects. ~ In-depth knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. ~ Solid understanding of Ontario Building Code and regulatory requirements. ~ Proven leadership capability managing cross-functional teams including PMs, site teams, and consultants. ~ Proficiency with construction software tools such as Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam. ~ Gold Seal, CET) are considered an asset. Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 CAD. A chance to lead impactful construction projects across Southwestern Ontario. #
