As a Child Development Instructor, you'll deliver high-quality programming that aligns with YMCA values. Your role involves guiding children through creative activities, building solid relationships with families, and ensuring safety and cleanliness. You'll foster an inclusive atmosphere by addressing the diverse needs of each child within your care and adhering to positive guidance techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement YMCA-approved curriculum for child development
• Facilitate creative and engaging activities for children




• Promote diversity and inclusion in program delivery
• Guide children positively during conflicts
• Build daily relationships with families and communicate effectively
Requirements:
• Experience working with children preferred
• Level 1, 2, or 3 Child Care Certification (or in progress)
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Police Information Check with Vulnerable sector check required
