Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- Train workers in farm duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Monitor mushroom substrate preparation and production processes.
- Oversee daily mushroom cultivation and harvesting operations.
- Develop and implement work schedules.
- Operate, maintain, and coordinate repairs of farm equipment.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain production records and report operational issues to management.
- Perform other farm-related duties as required
Working Abilities and Physical Capabilities
- Heavy lifting required
- Ability to work long hours, early mornings and weekends is required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Language: English
No formal education required. Basic mathematical skills are an asset. Loader certification preferred. Two (2) years of related experience preferred.
