Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by quickly clearing tables and assisting with food service when required




- Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent contamination or accidents in the kitchen environment
- Restock supplies such as dish soap, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes and kitchen areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Good communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and management
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory
- A positive attitude and willingness to support team efforts in a fast-paced setting
