Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and hygienic throughout your shift.
- Assist with food handling tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team in basic food preparation and service.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate timely dishwashing during busy service periods.
- Restock supplies such as clean dishes, utensils,



and kitchen tools to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment by participating in regular cleaning routines.

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including food preparation and food service practices is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hotel or food service environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly.
