Join our dynamic team as a DSSP Installer and become a vital part of infrastructure development and maintenance! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining underground utility systems, including electrical and communication lines. Your expertise will help ensure secure, reliable utility services for communities and commercial clients alike.

This position offers hands-on work with heavy equipment and precision tools, providing an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in utility installation and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and bucket cranes to excavate trenches and position utility lines accurately.
- Install underground utilities including electrical conduits, low voltage cables, and communication lines with precision and safety.
- Use hand tools and power tools to prepare sites, connect components, and perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Rigging and lifting heavy materials safely using appropriate techniques to ensure stability during installation.
- Perform welding tasks when necessary to secure connections or repair existing infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed utilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.




- Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment used, and safety checks completed throughout each project phase.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot various types of heavy equipment and tools.
- Experience operating excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively.
- Electrical experience or familiarity with low voltage systems enhances your ability to handle specialized installations.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, welding techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform low voltage wiring tasks accurately in underground environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and utility installation procedures.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving on-site.
