- Time is split 50/50 in each role

Location: Contract Type: Term 1.00 FTE; Full Time (approximately 30 hours per week)

- Monday - Thursday: 8:20 AM to 3:18 PM*
- Friday: 8:20 AM to 12:10 PM (Staff will be required to stay longer when training is being held)*
- working hours could change based on bell times.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Bassano School is seeking applications for an Educational Assistant (EA) that will share their time supporting students in their learning and development as a mainstream EA and as a Pre K EA.

On a daily basis this position will require an individual with the skill set and understanding to support Pre-K students in their stage of development as well as students with mainstream needs from kindergarten to grade 9.

This is a full-time, term position beginning August 25, 2026, and ending on June 29, 2027.

This role requires patience, kindness, and resiliency, and an understanding of the importance of this role for our students, colleagues, and community.

- Experience working with children or other vulnerable populations in an educational, healthcare, or related setting. Considered an asset but not a requirement: - Post-secondary training in education, Educational Assistant, child development, or a related field - Two or more years of experience working with children or in an education setting.
