Overview

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented team member for our embroidery shop "The Thread Bar". This role combines hands-on machine operation with customer service, packaging, and general workspace upkeep. If you enjoy creative work, have great attention to detail, and love interacting with people, this could be a great fit.

Embroidery Machine Operation

- Set up and operate the Brother PRS100 embroidery machine

- Hoop and prepare items for stitching

- Monitor thread usage, tension, and overall stitch quality

- Ensure items are completed efficiently (typically 5–10 minutes per item)

- Maintain the machine and ensure supplies are organized and stocked

Customer Service & Packaging

- Greet customers, intake items, and process payments

- Record item details including fonts, thread colors, and whether items are tenant or customer-provided

- Package finished items neatly and return them to customers

- Keep the display and sample areas organized and visually appealing

- Maintain a tidy and efficient work area

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
