emergiTEL is hiring an Endpoint Security Engineer for our client in the Information Security industry. This is a Contract role.

Compensation: $64 - $80/hour

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer to administer, deploy, integrate, and support enterprise endpoint security solutions across large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain endpoint security platforms, including agent deployment, upgrades, policy management, and troubleshooting.

- Support enterprise-wide security software rollouts across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

- Coordinate deployments with Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering, and Security Operations teams while following ITIL change management practices.

- Test and validate security solutions prior to production deployment.

- Integrate security platforms with Microsoft Entra ID, Splunk, SIEM, reporting, and ITSM solutions.

- Support mobile security initiatives using Microsoft Intune and/or IBM MaaS360.

- Develop SOPs, runbooks, operational procedures, and management reports.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of Cybersecurity or Endpoint Security experience.

- Hands-on administration experience with at least two of the following:

- CrowdStrike Falcon

- Lookout Mobile Security





- FireEye HX / Trellix HX

- Experience deploying and managing endpoint security technologies in large enterprise environments.

- Solid knowledge of endpoint security architecture, operational best practices, and troubleshooting.

- Experience integrating security platforms with Entra ID, Splunk, SIEM, and reporting tools.

- Strong understanding of ITIL and change management processes.

- Experience supporting Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Intune or MaaS360.

- Experience with security automation and APIs.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CrowdStrike, Trellix, or Microsoft Security certifications.
