Role Description This full-time, in office role is based in Edmonton, AB and involves operating mainly excavators and dozers on commercial earthworks projects. Day-to-day tasks include safely operating heavy equipment for excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling activities according to project plans and site conditions. Operators are expected to perform basic equipment inspections, report maintenance needs, and follow all safety procedures and site regulations.

The role also involves working closely with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate work, maintain productivity,



and ensure accurate completion of assigned tasks.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including excavators and dozers.
- Experience in bulk excavation and detail work for commercial earthworks projects.
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Knowledge of site safety practices, hazard awareness, and compliance with local regulations.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to various sites in the Edmonton area as required.
- Previous experience as an equipment operator in construction or earthworks is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
