Groundhogs is looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Labourer to join our Sudbury foundation crew.

This is a hands-on position working primarily on foundation waterproofing, drainage systems, foundation repairs and foundation replacement projects.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in working hard, shows up every day, works well with a crew, and wants to learn. Previous construction experience is an asset, but we're more interested in finding the right person with a strong work ethic and good attitude.

For the right person, there is plenty of opportunity to develop new skills, learn to operate excavators and other equipment, take on more responsibility, and grow within the company.

What You'll Be Doing

- Installing exterior foundation waterproofing systems
- Installing weeping tile, drainage systems, clear stone and foundation insulation
- Assisting with excavation and backfilling
- Working on foundation repairs and full foundation replacement projects
- Using hand tools, power tools and construction equipment
- Learning to operate excavators, skid steers and other equipment
- Loading, unloading and organizing materials




- Keeping jobsites clean, organized and safe
- Working alongside experienced operators and foundation crew members
- Completing a variety of physical construction tasks outdoors

What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's licence is required
- Reliable transportation to work
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Works well as part of a crew
- Takes pride in doing valuable-quality work
- Construction, excavation, concrete or equipment experience is an asset, but not required
