Farm Operations & Guest Services Assistant

Seasonal Full-Time / Full-Time

Location: UU Family Farm – Richmond, BC

UU Family Farm is looking for a flexible, reliable team member to support our farm during the fall season. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable around animals, and can switch between guest services, administrative work, and general farm support.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and handle admissions, payments, and POS transactions
- Support front desk and cashier operations
- Respond to customer emails and general inquiries
- Assist with group bookings, birthday parties, and farm events
- Help guests with questions and provide basic information about our animals
- Support animal areas and light animal-care tasks when needed
- Help keep guest areas organized, clean, and running smoothly
- Assist with other day-to-day farm operations as needed

What We're Looking For
- Previous cashier, retail, customer service, or front desk experience
- Comfortable handling payments and working with a POS system
- Strong written and spoken English
- Bilingual preferred; English and Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
- Comfortable responding to emails professionally
- Loves animals and is comfortable working around a variety of farm animals
- Friendly and confident communicating with families and children
- Reliable, organized, and able to notice what needs to be done
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Able to work independently and switch between different responsibilities
- Weekend availability is strongly preferred




- First-Aid Certificate candidate are strongly preferred

Position Seasonal Full-Time or Full-Time

This role is a good fit for someone who doesn't want to spend the entire day doing one task. Some days may be more focused on cashier and guest services, while others may include emails, bookings, events, or helping around the animal areas.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
