What You Will Be Doing:

- Auditioning and applying for active casting calls posted by production teams
- Entering the 48-Hour Vertical Film Showcase and other UMDB competitions, building a team and creating short films within the challenge window
- Collaborating with filmmakers and directors on short films, features, and content projects
- Building professional credits through completed productions




- Connecting directly with casting directors and producers seeking your skillset

Requirements:
- Background in acting, filmmaking, writing, editing, or related creative discipline
- Ability to collaborate in a skilled production environment
- Portfolio or showreel preferred but not required for entry-level roles
- All experience levels welcome

Compensation

Compensation varies by production. Roles include both paid positions and credited unpaid productions depending on project scope and budget. Competitions like the 48-Hour Vertical Film Showcase offer prizes, streaming distribution, and profile credits. All compensation details are disclosed per individual project posting.
