This role will complete complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis of key business information and drivers.
The Senior Financial
Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A.; The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives on using advanced tools for finance systems, visual dashboarding & data mining.
This position is for senior-level finance professionals that are looking for a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunity for growth and learning
Analyze key transportation cost drivers, including fuel, freight, mileage, maintenance, and carrier spend, to support cost control and business decisions.
Evaluate trucking cost trends and operational performance to identify efficiencies and drive sustainable cost savings.
Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes
Responsible for developing financial models, costing models, scenario analysis models, etc. to analyze product profitability using facts, data and financial analysis tools
Lead in the creation of financial, operational & executive dashboards using Power BI
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software
Coordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate a more efficient month-end review process
Assist in the implementation and development of current systems and processes
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or 2 years of experience as a Senior Financial Analyst
University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics. Previous experience required in corporate, manufacturing and/or supply chain logistics environment
Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent, or working towards the accounting designation
Proven ability to be self-driven, capable of adapting to change and simultaneously managing multiple tasks/ projects/ assignments
Proven ability to work using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Knowledge in preparing PowerPoint presentations for senior management
Full time position - hybrid options available after probationary period
