Babine Steelhead Lodge is hiring an Expeditor/Shuttle Driver for the remainder of our 2026 season. This is a hands-on, on-the-go role supporting our guides, guests, and camp operations — perfect for someone reliable, physically capable, and comfortable behind the wheel in a remote setting.

What You'll Do

- Purchase and pick up supply orders for expediting to camp
- Shuttle guests, boats, and trailers as needed
- Care for and maintain a rental truck — kept fueled and clean inside and out
- Manage a company credit card for business purchases, with receipts submitted regularly
- Drive safely, follow all traffic laws, and represent the lodge professionally at all times
- Lift heavy items as part of daily duties

What We're Looking For

- A reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Comfort with physical work, including heavy lifting




- A valid driver's abstract and driver's license (visual check required)
- Class 4 driver's license considered an asset
- Someone who's presentable, polite, and works well independently

The Details

- Rate: $25.00/hour, plus 4% vacation pay
- Statutory holiday pay per BC labour standards, where applicable
- Overtime paid after 40 hours worked in a 7-day period
- Payday: first Friday after month-end, provided hours are submitted on time (cheque or e-transfer)
- Term: effective August 2026 through October 31, 2026 (dates subject to slight change)
- Employee status — CPP and EI contributions handled through payroll

Location: Based out of Smithers, BC Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
