Registered Social Worker

We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our team in Scarborough, ON.

? Pay: $25.00/hour

? Location: Scarborough, ON

? Schedule: Full Time - Mon To Fri

About the Role

The RSW will provide person-centred support to adults and transitional-age youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities, dual diagnosis, mental health needs, and/or responsive behaviours.

You’ll play an key role in helping individuals:

- Build independence and life skills
- Participate in community activities
- Maintain daily routines and personal well-being
- Communicate their needs and preferences
- Feel safe, respected, and supported

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized support based on care and support plans

• Assist with ADLs, skill development, and community participation

• Support individuals with complex behavioural and mental health needs

• Recognize verbal, non-verbal, and gestural communication

• Use alternative communication methods such as Sign Language and Picture Symbols

• Complete progress notes, reports, and incident documentation

• Work collaboratively with families, care teams, and service providers





• Maintain a protected, respectful, and inclusive environment

What We’re Looking For

✔️ DSW, SSW, PSW, Social Services, or related diploma/degree

✔️ Experience supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities or complex needs

✔️ Strong communication and documentation skills

✔️ Standard First Aid & CPR Level C

✔️ Vulnerable Sector Check issued within the last 6 months

✔️ 2-Step TB Test or negative Chest X-ray within the last 6 months

✔️ Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overnights

✔️ Class G licence and reliable vehicle are considered an asset

✔️ OCSWSSW registration, where applicable

✔️ Microsoft Office proficiency; AIMS experience is an asset
