RESTAURANT ASSISTANT SERVER

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, the Assistant Server provides essential front-of-house support within Cedars Restaurant and Lounge. This role ensures a seamless and elevated guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and service readiness of the dining room, lounge, and patio areas. The Assistant Server works collaboratively with the service team to uphold Tigh-Na-Mara’s high hospitality standards while supporting efficient and attentive guest service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support servers in delivering exceptional and timely guest service
- Greet guests genuinely when passing through the dining areas
- Clear, clean, and reset tables and chairs efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, lounge, and patio areas




- Refill beverages and assist with table maintenance as required
- Ensure all service stations are fully stocked and organized
- Polish glassware and maintain folded napkin stock levels
- Coordinate closely with servers to ensure smooth service flow
- Refresh vases and greenery on a weekly basis or as needed
- Maintain brochure racks and guest-facing materials in the restaurant
- Adhere to all food safety and company service policies
- Report any cleanliness or maintenance concerns to a supervisor or manager

QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and self-motivated work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Qualified guest service and telephone etiquette
- Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
