We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face welcoming customers, taking their orders, and ensuring they receive prompt, quality service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience for every guest.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and food safety within a dynamic restaurant environment. All roles are paid positions, including internships.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling menu items when appropriate to enhance their experience
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food contact surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and receipts to customers




- Support food industry best practices by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
