We are currently looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklift equipment to load, unload, move, stage, and organize products throughout the warehouse and dock area.

The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment, and committed to following all workplace health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Move pallets, products, and materials to designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, stage, and prepare products for shipping and receiving.
- Stack and organize pallets safely and efficiently.
- Transport products between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Verify product quantities, labels, and locations when required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Perform daily pre-use inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report forklift damage, mechanical problems, or safety concerns immediately.
- Follow warehouse traffic rules and safe operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and product organization when required.
- Perform general labour and warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
- Follow instructions provided by supervisors and warehouse management.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, receiving,



and production teams.
- Meet daily productivity and operational requirements.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and PPE requirements.

Requirements

- Previous forklift operating experience is required/preferred.
- Valid forklift certification/licence where required.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of forklift and warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical duties throughout the shift.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be available for the afternoon shift.

Working Conditions

- Shift: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the possibility of working until 10:00 PM.
- Work is performed in a warehouse/dock environment.
- The dock is temperature-controlled and may be cold.
- Candidates must wear appropriate clothing for cold working conditions.
- Safety shoes are mandatory.
- A winter jacket is required for the dock area and forklift test.

Preferred Qualifications

- Forklift certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution centre.
- Experience with loading and unloading trailers.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Strong safety awareness and dependable work habits.
